William “Bill” Cummings Jr. is a Fresno-based real estate developer and contractor with an extensive background in real estate valuation, business development and commercial construction. Early in his business career, Bill received a solid introduction to the commercial real estate industry by performing over 1,500 commercial property inspections and 100 property appraisals throughout 37 states. Clients included Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, GMAC and WAMU. In 2005, Bill moved to Central California to work for his family’s real estate development company, Cummings and Associates, where he assisted in the acquisition and renovation of two large multi-family housing projects totaling $30M in value. In 2006, Bill started Legacy Construction, a commercial construction firm focusing on healthcare facilities in Central California. Legacy Construction has worked towards a vertically integrated development model focusing on credit tenant, built-to-suit projects in the commercial sector.
In addition to Legacy Construction, Bill is co-owner of Legacy Realty and Development (LRD) and First Resource Consulting (FRC). LRD is a real estate brokerage and development entity used on development projects. FRC is an economically disadvantaged woman owned small business (EDWOSB) that specializes in distressed asset management and training for federal agencies such as HUD. Bill is a licensed California real estate broker (DRE #01504861) and holds an active California General B Contractor’s License (CSLB #891883).
James (Jamie) Reedy primarily lives in Nashville, TN and handles all overhead functions for Legacy Construction, including insurance compliance, HR, billing/draws (communications with banks and other lenders), contracts, legal issues and payroll. Jamie has successfully managed over 200 projects for Legacy Construction.
A graduate from Vanderbilt University with an Economics degree, Jamie is the co-owner and CFO of Legacy Construction as well as an active real estate agent and residential developer.
Christopher Morris Sanders

A professional in the construction industry for more than 34 years, Mr. Sanders been involved in the development and construction of more than 400 projects. Experience includes residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Having held the the primary positions of Project Designer, Project Estimator, Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and Contractor Operations, Mr. Sanders has the skills to be of benefit to you and your business operations, growth, and expansion.
Because his family and friends have lived in this community for over 160 years, and continue to do so, he has a vested interest in raising the bar with respect to construction quality and performance. Born and raised in Madera, California, Steve attended Madera High School and graduated, as Class of 1998. From a very young age, Steve was fascinated with buildings and construction. It was through his high school engineering academic program that truly confirmed Steve’s passion for construction. In 2005, Steve received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management Engineering from California State University, Fresno. Steve received his first check from a Contractor at a very early age- eight years old, to be exact, for his assistant as extra help to the project by cleaning up the site and cleaning floor space for safety use. To date, Steve has provided supervision for his employer, managing team of staff and overseeing and managing multimillion dollar such as retail centers, heavy civil roadwork, industrial improvements, medical facilities, residential master pieces such as the Frank Lloyd Wright restoration, a special recognized project that Steve was a part of and contributed greatly with pride and precision. Steve has chosen to reside locally in Fresno County to give back to his community through the work he produce as a result of his career and through job selection. Steve enjoys the simple things in life and values his family relationship and his connection with his community, which is of positivity. Steve is also engaged with his community and recently took part in leading a two year high school name campaign and led it to victory. With his family and community support, Steve was able to convince and influence the Board of Education in Madera to name the new high school in honor of his beloved mother, and the new high school in Madera, California is officially called Matilda Torres High School (MTHS). It is scheduled to open 2019 and everyone is welcome to join Steve and his family next year for the opening of MTHS.
